Recently, we participated in the Artivion ELITE™ Educational Experience at the Medical University of Vienna, where leading cardiovascular specialists gathered for intensive cadaveric training focused on advanced aortic arch procedures and emerging treatment strategies for acute Type A aortic dissections.
The programme provided valuable hands-on experience with the AMDS™ Hybrid Prosthesis, an innovative technology designed to address the challenges associated with acute DeBakey Type I dissections by supporting positive aortic remodelling and helping to reduce complications associated with conventional repair techniques.
Educational initiatives such as these play a vital role in advancing clinical practice, promoting knowledge exchange, and ultimately improving patient outcomes.
